These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to consultations, mentoring and advisory support provided by Fernando William Mourao / FWM (“FWM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to individuals and businesses (“you” or “client”).
1. Our services
FWM provides mentoring, consultation and practical advisory support based on conversation, experience, knowledge and professional judgement.
Our discussions may cover personal, professional, business, community, diversity, faith, home, travel and related topics. The purpose is to help you explore questions, clarify issues, consider options and make informed decisions.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, our services do not constitute legal, medical, psychological, tax, investment or other regulated professional advice.
2. Complimentary 45-minute trial
Where offered, the initial 45-minute consultation is complimentary and carries no obligation to purchase further services.
The trial is intended to allow both parties to determine whether FWM's approach and services are appropriate for your needs.
3. Paid consultations
A standard consultation is 60 minutes at €85, unless another fee or arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Payment is required at the time of booking. Your appointment is confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling and non-attendance
You may cancel or reschedule a paid consultation without charge provided that you give at least 24 hours' notice.
One rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation are non-refundable.
If you do not attend your scheduled consultation (“no-show”), the consultation fee is non-refundable.
If FWM needs to cancel or reschedule a consultation, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of the amount paid for that consultation.
5. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and implementation of any ideas, information or recommendations discussed during a consultation.
FWM does not guarantee any particular personal, professional or business outcome.
6. Confidentiality
We will treat information shared with us during consultations as confidential, subject to any legal obligation requiring disclosure or circumstances where disclosure is necessary to protect a person's safety or rights.
Please do not provide information that you are not authorised to disclose.
7. Online consultations
Paid consultations are normally conducted online using the video-conferencing arrangements stated at the time of booking.
You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and environment in which to participate.
Technical difficulties on your side do not automatically constitute a cancellation by FWM or entitle you to a refund.
8. Privacy
Personal information provided when booking or during a consultation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to your booking will normally be the version in effect when you make the booking.
10. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to FWM's place of establishment, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
11. Acceptance
By booking a consultation, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
